About the Venue

Balmer Lawn Hotel, Brockenhurst

Balmer Lawn Hotel & New Forest Spa sits on the edge of Brockenhurst in the heart of the New Forest. Built in the 19th century as a private house and hunting lodge, it served as a field hospital in the First World War and an Army Staff College in the Second, before becoming the hotel it is today.

The hotel is licensed for wedding ceremonies of up to 140 guests, indoors or outdoors in its woodland Sylvan Pavilion. Couples can choose exclusive use of the whole hotel, with its 54 bedrooms, or the Beaulieu Suite, a private wing with its own bar.
